INTRODUCTION
An engagement ring is much more than a piece of jewelry; it is a symbol of love and commitment that will last over time. At Moner 1871 we are specialists in this type of ring: we carefully select each stone, make all the settings by hand and adapt the quality according to your preferences (our quality standard is G color and VS clarity, although we can serve the quality you desire).
We create unique, custom-made pieces so that each ring tells its own story. The key to an exceptional ring is to have a trusted jeweler, a good workshop and a demanding selection of diamonds.
If you're looking for the perfect engagement ring, here's a guide to help you find it.

SELECT YOUR STYLE
A minimalist classic where the central stone is the absolute protagonist.

A continuous design that integrates several stones for a constant shine.
Whether with a continuous or partial line of diamonds, it is ideal for those who want more brilliance and sophistication.

A sophisticated design that surrounds the central stone with small diamonds, adding volume and shine.

THE COLOR OF GOLD
Once you have chosen the type of ring, you need to decide on the gold tone that best matches it.

THE CENTRAL STONE
The choice of stone is one of the most important elements of an engagement ring. At Moner 1871 we select each stone personally, working only with natural untreated diamonds and high quality gemstones.
BEFORE CHOOSING...

THE IMPORTANCE OF THE
SIZE OF THE STONE AND FINGER
Choosing the right size is essential for both the aesthetics and comfort of the ring. Diamonds and other gemstones are measured in carats (ct), while finger size can be adjusted to ensure a perfect fit.
At Moner 1871 we work with a wide range of diamond sizes, from 0.02 ct to 1 ct or more, depending on the type of setting and personal preferences.

HOW THE FACTORS INFLUENCE
IN THE PRICE OF THE RING?
IN THE PRICE OF THE RING?
Each engagement ring is unique, and its price depends on several elements that determine its value and exclusivity. At Moner 1871 we work with high quality materials and handcrafted pieces, and we accompany you throughout the process to find the best option within your budget. The main factors that influence the price are:

THE CENTRAL STONE
The type of stone, its size and quality are the elements that most influence the final price. In the case of diamonds, it is valued according to the 4Cs:
- Carat: The larger the stone, the rarer and more precious the diamond will be.
- Color: More transparent diamonds have more value, while colored gems can have variable prices depending on their intensity.
- Purity: Internal inclusions affect the price, but many are invisible to the naked eye.
- Cut: A good cut enhances brilliance and can make a smaller stone appear larger.
Example: A 0.50 ct diamond with great cut quality and clarity may have a similar price to a 0.75 ct diamond with inferior characteristics.

THE TYPE OF FRAME
The design of the frame also affects the price, as some require more gold and craftsmanship.
- Staples: A classic and elegant option, which allows you to maximize the brilliance of the stone with less material.
- Railing or embrace: They require more gold and jewelry work, as they surround the stone in a more complex way.
- Rosette or halo: Surrounds the central stone with smaller diamonds, creating a luxurious effect but also increasing the price.

THE CHOSEN GOLD
The price of gold varies depending on its purity.
We briefly explain how it works: Pure gold, when it comes from nature, is 24kt (100% gold, 1000 thousandths). But this is very soft and would not be useful in jewelry, so we dilute it with other metals to create the different alloys:
- 18kt: 75% gold and 25% other metals
- 14kt: 58.5% gold and 41.5% other metals
- 9kt: 37.5% gold and 62.5% other metals
At Moner 1871 we work exclusively with 18kt gold. It is the one that maintains more characteristics of pure gold without being so soft. The rest contain less proportion of gold and more of other metals, therefore, when working with them they always give many more problems, especially when modifications have to be made.

PERSONALIZATION AND CRAFTSMANSHIP
Each custom-made ring requires hours of craftsmanship and custom adjustments. Options such as engravings, exclusive designs, or special combinations can add value and make the ring even more unique.
